Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange is managed by an attorney-in-fact called Federated Rural Electric Management Corp (FREMC).

FREMC, incorporated as a Kansas non-stock, membership corporation, provides the day-to-day management and insurance services.

Both companies are under the direction of the same 20-member board of directors elected by the members, or subscribers, of Federated.
